Yelp doesn't offer a direct "write a review" link the way Google does. But you can still make it easy for customers to find your review page.
Since Yelp discourages solicited reviews, the smarter approach is to use a tool like RateMind to catch negative feedback privately, and route happy customers to platforms like Google or Trustpilot that welcome review requests.
Find Your Yelp Business URL
- Go to yelp.com and search for your business.
- Click on your business listing.
- Copy the URL from your browser's address bar. It will look like
https://www.yelp.com/biz/your-business-name-city.
From Yelp for Business
- Log in at biz.yelp.com.
- Your business URL is displayed in your profile overview.
- You can also find "Find us on Yelp" badges and links to share.
Important: Yelp's Review Policy
Yelp explicitly discourages businesses from asking customers to leave reviews. Their recommendation software filters reviews that appear solicited. You can still make your Yelp page easy to find, just avoid language like "please leave us a Yelp review."
A better approach is to use the link as one of several review platforms customers can choose from.
Use RateMind to Route Intelligently
With RateMind, you can offer multiple review platforms. Happy customers see a choice between Google, Trustpilot, and Yelp, then pick the one they prefer. This works well with Yelp's policies because customers are choosing to leave a review on their own, not being directly asked.
